Hey everyone!
I know this line is very familiar to all of us...coz although there are some times when our Biggest desires are not fulfilled and we become upset..but more than that what happens majority of the times is that - God answers our small small prayers..so soon and just coz those things were not in the top priority list..we tend to forget those small blessings.
I would be putting up a series of blog posts on this topic and would also like you all to put in your similar stories in short in the comment section. Write about that time, when you wished for something very small, very minute.. hardly in the list of important things in your life,
and they got fulfilled at the drop of a hat!
I dedicate this series to the Super Power I believe in :) and his name is- 'Mere Bhagwanjee'
The first incident that I can remember when I first think of the line:
When God Answers you small small prayers!
Oh well this again dates back to my stay in Mumbai..Actually I have always liked the city for its speed, energy, enthusiasm..and though only for a few months, I simply cherished my stay in Mumbai.
This is about the time when I had just started off with my job May 2005. At Lilavati, we had a software to enter Patient details, almost every big hospital has such softwares. I was very happy when I saw the software, as I have been used to using Computer keyboard that too with shortcuts right from the year 2000. But somehow this software was very weird.....
First of all I din't like its look and feel...Secondly I couldnt work at it with the same speed with which I normally work on the PC/Laptop.
Thirdly the moment I made a mistake, it seemed as if Gauri (My Boss) was waiting to blast at me...
I was utterly frustrated with that stupid software..
In my previous post- "Mumbai floods -1" I already described that I used to take Bus No 86 to go to and come back from Lilavati. My hostel was located at such place that daily while going and returning I used to pass through Siddhivinayak temple.. and I got this chance to Pray to Ganpati Bappa ekdum paas se everyday! :) (Although now there is a huge boundary wall enlosing the temple...how lucky I was that it wasnt there at my time!)
After few days of joining I was super duper frustrated with the sofware, and one day while returning back from Lilavati when my bus passed through Siddihivinayak, I prayed from the bottom of my heart
"Bhagwanji bohot ho gaya ab, us Gauri ka aur us Software ka kuch karo please... agar aap Gauri ka kuch nai kar sakte toh koi baat nai...pleasee woh software kharab kar do...."
When I reached the hostel the routine started, arranging the room, having dinner, reading newspaper, miscellaneous stuff and sleeping early..
Next day, I had a 11am shift and as soon as I reached I saw Gauri, Ashmi , Tejal and Nilofar was getting panicky and all. it took me hardly a few seconds to figure out what had happened..
Any guesses?
Words cannot describe my happiness and thankfulness to 'Mere Bhagwanjee'. Still I managed and tried to be very sympathetic towards them and starting thinking of an option that would be most suitable to me.
Voila! Witihin an hour I created Sheets on MS Excel and applied shortcuts and since that day we started using my Excel sheets for entering Patient details.
Hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed jotting it down.
Good Luck !Stay Safe!
