The attack on the Congress Convoy was not just unfateful but shocking too!
and the fact that the sick Maoists stabbed the great "Bastar Tiger"- Mahendra Karma 78 times was beyond imagination.
But on giving a second thought I feel those people who did this act of brutality are really not the ones to be blamed!
Reasons - Because they have been brainwashed to such an extent that they think what they are taught to think! They act according to what they are told to do! They live the way they are being told to!
They hardly have a life of their own - they are poor little guinea pigs Being Used for someone elses purpose!
These people should be treated the same way as the USA treated the Osama Bin Laden's supposed supporters in Afghanistan.
I am not writing this article in some state of mind in which I am very angry on some particular Maoist due to some personal grudge.
I think every Indian should have a personal grudge against every Maoist or Naxalite or any such Stupid Minded Mentality people.
I have been to Bastar in the Feb 2006. Bastar is a beautiful place but
1) Tourism cannot develop because of these Naxalites and Maoists! Hence many
2) Poor children cannot be educated because Naxalites and Maoists donot want children to get education, because if they do they would understand that these supposed supporters of poor people are actually their Enemies!
3) Maoists are the ones who are responsible for tree felling and reducing the Jungle cover!
4) Lives or people are in constant terror because these Maoists or Naxalites are spread all over the village and the moment a villager speaks about his.her own interested his/her family is slained!
5) People can't commute on certain routes Why because these Useless people have captured those areas and don't like common people to go to those areas. Capturing religious temples is another menace that these people have created!
If someone is really working for development it could be in the form of
1) Planting more trees
2) Giving basic education to children.
3) Providing self employment options to Adivasi people, or even establish cottage industries
4) Providing options to sell those items made my small scale enterprise!
5) Explain them the importance of water catchment areas and Rain Water Harvesting.
6) Explain them the importance of using bio-degradable items (which they already use being Adivasis) and letting them continue doing so in a scietific manner and thus helping to lessen the pollution!
I think if only this much is done One is actually helping these normal Adivasi people to live their lives in a better way.
And as regards what should be done to these Crazy Minded Maoists and Naxalites, Yes they should be treated the same way as USA treated Afghanistan. And if another group of Human Rights Activists say that this should be done.. make them stay with the bodies of Mahendra Karma and Nadkumar Patel for 1 night!
